This is a very healthy cake which used wholemeal flour, plain flour, brown sugar, eggs and bananas to bake.
Ingredients
cake
70g unsalted butter
30g brown sugar
2 eggs
90g whole wheat flour
90g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
200g banana puree
Topping
2 pieces banana
a few brown sugar
a few cinnamon powder
Methods
- Whisk butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- add in beaten egg one by one and mix well.
- pour in banana puree and mix well.
- sift in whole wheat flour, plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
- Pour the mxture into the baking mould and place banana slices on top.
- sprinkle some brown sugar and some cinnamon powder on top.
- bake for 5 minutes at 180c.
