England Fruit Cake



One of my cousins told me that her friend's mother made a very delicious fruit cake which she had soaked the mixed fruits in rum for one year. So, i went to Venturi to ask the lady boss whether need to soak the mixed fruit for one year. She said that normally people soak the mixed fruit in rum for a couple days. I poured about 1/3 rum which i bought from Giant to 500g mixed fruits and soaked it for 3 days. I used all the mixed fruits to bake two fruit cakes. The cake is very fluffy and delightfully aromatized by the rum.
